Hi Fellow CNI Attendees!
I'm proud to serve as Co-Executive Director at Educopia, where I am responsible for organizational development and the fiscal sponsorship portfolio. I strive to connect intentionality in my daily practice to long-term, system-level change. Deliberately positioned at professional and disciplinary intersections, I care about (1) the ways power is distributed through formal and informal governance and (2) what the flow of information within groups/collectives/organizations
over time teaches us about the interplay between people and systems.
I've been honored to facilitate a strategic conversations for a diverse range of groups committed to collective action as a vehicle for change, including: Association for Research Libraries, Humanities Commons, Institute for Racial Equity in Libraries, Software Preservation Network, Wintergreen Women Writers Collective, Maintainers, BitCurator Consortium, Anti-Racism in Academia, Center for Research Libraries, and Cita Press. I've worn many hats since joining Educopia including Director for Research & Strategy, Deputy Director, and now Co-Executive Director. Prior to joining Educopia in 2017, I served as Digital Preservation Manager at the University of Texas at Austin where I helped bridge departmental silos within the Briscoe Center for American History, and among fellow repositories across campus.
I would love to chat with folks about topics (including but not limited to):
- knowledge equity
- navigating transitions in organizations and communities of practice
- change management in information institutions
- cultivating peer learning networks
- cultivating leaders at every level of organizations
- systems leadership
- shared leadership
- results-based accountability
- "right-sizing" digital infrastructure
- Just Tech / Public Interest Technology
- relationships between universities and extra-institutional initiatives driving change in the knowledge ecosystem
Looking forward to seeing everyone!
